How to enter and participate?
Contestants can enter in one of two ways: (1) Mailing a postcard to KOAM-TV Dinner and a Movie, P.O. Box 659 Pittsburg, Kansas 66762, or by (2) Registering on the station’s website www.koamtv.com. All contestants entries must include first and last name, current address, phone number and date of birth. One entry per person, per calendar year. ( January 1-December 31st.)

When prizes can be won? Date?
Contestants will be chosen by fair and random drawing every Monday morning during the Morning News.

The extent, nature, and value of the prizes?
Each weekly winner receives (1) a gift certificate or gift card to various local restaurant advertising sponsors. The dinner gift certificates/cards will be valued at a minimum of $20, and (2) Two  movie passes to Hollywood Northstar 14 Theaters, 201 North Northpark Lane, Joplin, Missouri valued at a minimum of  $15.50.  Hollywood Northstar 14 Theaters guest passes may not be valid for special engagements or new releases. Value of total package $35.00. The station reserves the right to substitute sponsor gift certificates/card with another gift certificate/card of equal or greater value.

Time and means of selection of winner
All entries will be placed in a tumbler and one (1) winner will be randomly drawn each Monday, during the KOAM Morning News.

Eligibility restrictions
The KOAM-TV Dinner and a Movie contest is open to all eligible viewers 18 years of age or older who hold a valid state-issued article of identification bearing the contestant’s photo. Dinner and a Movie winners should not have won anything on KOAM-TV within the past 30 days. Contestants must reside in one of the following 14 counties in the station’s Designated Market Area (DMA) which includes the following counties: In Kansas; Woodson, Allen, Bourbon, Wilson, Neosho, Crawford, Labette, and Cherokee. In Oklahoma; Ottawa. In Missouri; Vernon, Barton, Jasper, Newton, and McDonald. Entries from outside the DMA will be disqualified. Any prizes awarded to an ineligible contestant will be deemed null and void and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Saga Communications, and their sponsors, its subsidiaries or agents and their immediate families may not participate and are not eligible to win. The term “immediate families” include spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
All prizes must be claimed at the station during regular business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday. KOAM-TV can waive the requirement of claiming prizes at the station where special circumstances make it appropriate to do so; for example if prizes are mailed. Winners are required to present valid identification. Only one winner per household, per family, per year will be permitted for the Dinner and a Movie Contest. The winning prize is non-transferable.

When prizes will be awarded
We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning.
